Halloween Crocs: The Card Game - Extended Rules

The goal of the game is to fill up 5 candy slots in front of you. The first person to get 5 candy cards ends the game, and the person with the most points wins the game! If you have an Apple card in one of your slots when the game ends, your points do not get counted.

Play one round at a time or keep track of your points for tournament style play!

No. of Players:

2-8 players per deck.

Instructions:

Deal 5 cards face down to each player. All turns begin by drawing 1 card, playing a card, and following the action of that card. Cards that have been played are put in the discard pile face up.

Offensive Cards:

Reaper - There is only one Reaper card, and it takes all 4 point candies from one player's slots. However, if a player has an Apple in one of their slots, the Reaper can't take candy from that player.

Dracula - Takes two cards from any player's candy slots.

Pirate - Takes one card from any player's candy slots.

Frankenstein - Chooses one player to fan out the cards in their hand, and then chooses one of their cards blindly (from their hand, not their slots).

Defensive Cards:

Devil - There are only two Devil cards. A player can use the Devil card to block the Reaper from taking their 4 point candy, and then takes the Reaper player's candy.  The Devil is played immediately when another player plays a Reaper on you.

Mummy - Blocks either the Pirate or Dracula from taking your cards. The Mummy is played immediately whenever another player tries to take your candy using a Pirate or Dracula card.

Zombie - Gets rid of an Apple card in one of your own slots. Must be played during your turn.

Special Cards:

Candy Cards - 1 through 4 points.

Apple - You can put an Apple card in any player's slot to block one of their candy slots.

Skeleton - Plays the most recent playable card in the discard pile.

Werewolf - Draws an extra card from the deck to be put in your hand (cannot play it that same turn).

Ghost - Skips the next player.

Bat - Reverses order of gameplay.
